Whilst staying at Hotel The Originals Rey du Mont Sion, do go and visit Annecy, the Venice of the Alps, with l'Esplanade du Pâquier, the old city, the shopping areas ... it is a must do!
From the hotel, turn left onto the main road towards Annecy. Halfway, you will discover "le Pont de la Caille", a suspension bridge built in 1830. You will be able to contemplate the valley and the structure on the recently renovated viewing spot. You then can decide to continue on the main road or join the motorway if you don't mind paying a toll fee.
Once arrived in Annecy, numerous parking lots are clearly indicated and none are better or worse, other than those nearest to the lake being often full. Street parking is possible if you get lucky.
You are also able to travel to Annecy by local bus which will take you from the buststop on the main road in front of the hotel and bring you back the same way. please take care when crossing this busy road. Ask for the bus timetable at reception.
